As part of this team, you'll work on some of the most advanced construction projects nationwide, growing your career alongside our diverse team of industry professionals.

Key Role Responsibilities - Core

• Learns and actively participates in all aspects of the company's safety and quality plans and culture, demonstrating commitment to an injury-free environment.
• Completes entry-level and routine mechanical, electrical, and field construction activities.
• Learns how to develop budgetary M/E estimates based on program and schematic design information using automated systems.
• Assists in reviewing mechanical and electrical options during preconstruction and completes systems analysis for projects.
• Learns to develop the mechanical and electrical scopes of work for the bid process.
• Assists in bid analysis and subcontractor selection.
• Helps develop sequencing requirements for various systems to meet schedule needs.
• Gains knowledge of design documents to identify potential quality issues.
• Learns to perform job inspections ensuring specifications and expectations are met.
• Assists with shop drawing/submittal processes to ensure compliance.
• Supports the commissioning process, including developing checklists and testing procedures.

Key Role Responsibilities - Additional Core

Senior M/E Engineer

• Performs more complex mechanical, electrical, and field activities.
• Develops budget estimates based on design information.
• Reviews options, recommends systems, and suggests value engineering.
• Coordinates scopes during bidding and develops sequencing for schedule adherence.
• Reviews design documents for quality issues and helps develop quality control programs.
• Conducts job inspections and develops testing procedures.
• Prepares and verifies commissioning documentation and plans.
• Mentors less experienced team members and develops process improvements.
• Negotiates subcontracts, purchases equipment, and builds client relationships.
• Participates in business development activities and community events.
• Manages resource allocation and staffing for projects.
• Promotes diversity and inclusion within the organization.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Accuracy, timeliness, and effective communication skills.
• Ability to read plans and specifications, proficiency in construction tools and software.
• Understanding of construction management fundamentals and project processes.
• Relationship-building skills, proficiency in scheduling, BIM, Lean principles, and budget management.
• Knowledge of ASE and Lens software, and ability to manage projects from start to finish.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering or related field required; equivalent experience considered.
• 10+ years of construction management experience preferred.
