Job summary

Hatch is seeking Intermediate and Senior Commissioning Managers for North American assignments. The role oversees planning, budgeting, and execution of all pre-commissioning and commissioning activities on metals, mining or infrastructure projects.

You will coordinate with design, procurement and client teams to ensure safe, compliant and on-schedule delivery, including permitting, staffing and execution planning. Strong leadership and a background in commissioning are essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated health and safety management focus during project delivery.
• Engineering degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum five to seven years of commissioning management experience.
• Strong leadership and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using Visio or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, direction, organization and budgeting of all Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning work.
• Coordinate with client, project management, engineering and procurement to ensure schedules and costs are met.
• Ensure safety plans, permits and regulatory requirements are identified and followed.
• Develop site organization, staffing and resources to execute commissioning activities.
• Review engineering documents and prepare execution plans for commissioning services.
