Job summary

Power Construction, one of Chicago’s leading General Contractors, is looking for a Senior Commissioning Manager to oversee the commissioning of complex mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, and fire sprinkler systems. This role is vital to ensuring system functionality and compliance with design standards, as well as successful project handover.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering with 5-10 years of relevant experience. Salary ranges from $125,000 to $175,000 with additional benefits.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in construction or engineering with a focus on commissioning.
• Nationally recognized Commissioning certifications preferred.
• Proficient in project management tools and data-based commissioning platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage site commissioning activities and resolve issues.
• Develop and execute commissioning plans for all MEP/FP systems.
• Participate in testing and field verification activities.
