Job summary

Project Resource Collective LLC is hiring a Commissioning Manager to lead large-scale utility capital projects from planning through system turnover. You will coordinate with engineering, construction, vendors, and field teams to ensure readiness for startup and testing while upholding safety and schedule milestones.

The ideal candidate will bring 5–10 years of commissioning leadership in utility, industrial, or infrastructure environments, with strong technical knowledge and proven leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related technical discipline.
• 5–10 years of commissioning leadership experience on large-scale projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, or controls systems.
• Experience leading commissioning programs in utility, industrial, or infrastructure environments.
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and construction specifications.
• Experience in customer- or stakeholder-facing environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning execution from planning through final turnover and closeout.
• Develop commissioning strategies, schedules, procedures, and responsibilities.
• Coordinate readiness for startup and testing with engineering and field teams.
• Oversee inspections, startup activities, testing, and performance verification.
• Review specifications and drawings to ensure commissioning requirements.
• Manage logs, turnover packages, and closeout documentation.
• Interface with stakeholders, subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
• Identify deficiencies and drive resolution to meet milestones.
• Ensure alignment of commissioning scope with project teams and safety programs.
• Support operations and maintenance training during turnover.
• Participate in project meetings and provide status updates.
