Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to lead large-scale data center commissioning programs. You will shape strategy, manage readiness planning, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, and drive turnover to operations with a focus on critical infrastructure systems.

The role requires 10+ years in mission-critical environments, strong leadership, and excellent stakeholder management. Office-based in Texas with an emphasis on planning, reporting, and program governance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in commissioning, startup, or mission-critical infra programs.
• Experience leading commissioning for programs >$100M.
• Experience with data centers and mission-critical facilities.
• Strong knowledge of power, cooling, controls, and monitoring systems.
• Excellent communication and leadership across diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning strategy and planning across the program lifecycle.
• Coordinate commissioning activities among stakeholders and vendors.
• Develop and maintain readiness plans, testing roadmaps, and turnover.
• Align milestones with overall objectives and delivery requirements.
• Provide leadership to commissioning engineers, project engineers, and vendors.
• Foster collaboration across PM, scheduling, procurement, and controls teams.
• Create commissioning schedules, milestone trackers, and turnover plans.
• Establish workflows and documentation standards for commissioning.
• Coordinate readiness reviews and turnover activities.
