Superior is seeking a Senior Commissioning Engineer to lead commissioning planning, startup, and energization of complex electrical systems. You will develop and approve methods of procedure (MOPs), oversee lockout/tagout planning, and conduct readiness reviews for safe energization.

This role coordinates with project teams and stakeholders while guiding power distribution system work. The position is jobsite-based, supporting Conesville, Ohio projects; travel to multiple sites may be required

Competenze

At least 5 years of experience in quality control, testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
Strong technical understanding of medium and low voltage power distribution including switchgear, UPS, generators and redundantly fed power systems.
Experience with NFPA, NEC, NFPA 70E and applicable codes and standards.

Mansioni

Lead development and approval of complex methods of procedures (MOPs) documents.
Oversee LOTO planning and energized work strategies.
Lead pre-energization readiness reviews and support startup activities.
Review and validate one-line diagrams, switching sequences, and system interdependencies.
Identify and mitigate startup, energization, and system integration risks.
Drive resolution of commissioning and technical issues.
Coordinate with owners, construction managers, manufacturers, distributors, and testing partners.
Coordinate with Field Operations, Project Operations, and Engineering teams.
Mentor Commissioning Engineers and improve QACx workflows.
