Job summary
Anglian Water is seeking a Senior Commissioning Engineer to lead commissioning across complex Clean Water projects within AMP8. You will act as a technical expert, mentor others, and help standardise best practice from design input to on-site delivery.
Collaborating with engineering and operations teams, you’ll produce commissioning plans, RAMS, and testing deliverables, optimise control systems, and ensure safe handover to Operations.
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent in mechanical, electrical, process or related engineering.
- Strong commissioning experience in Clean Water or related processes.
- Ability to mentor graduates and apprentices.
- Strong planning and communication skills.
- Understanding of automated control systems and process optimisation.
- AMP projects experience is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Mentor apprentices and engineers; share best practice across AMP8.
- Collaborate with Solutions Managers on Clean Water solutions and design input.
- Develop commissioning RAMS and testing deliverables.
- Lead on-site commissioning activities for multiple engineers.
- Ensure safe handover to Operations and capture lessons learned.
- Produce commissioning plans aligned with construction programmes.
