Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, environmental or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5–10 years of HVAC experience in large multi-family or commercial buildings.
• Experience with commissioning, retro-commissioning, and decarbonization projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning and retro‑commissioning projects and decarbonization assessments for diverse building types.
• Evaluate documents and existing conditions to improve energy efficiency and indoor air quality.
• Develop commissioning plans, testing procedures, and technical reports for new and existing buildings.
• Perform functional testing of central plant equipment and controls to verify performance.
• Identify deficiencies and propose solutions supporting electrification and long-term performance.
• Collaborate with owners, designers, contractors, and operators to ensure project success.
• Direct medium–to–large projects including budgeting, scheduling and client communication.
• Develop scopes of work, proposals, budgets, and timelines for commissioning services.
• Contribute to mentorship and growth of junior staff; engage with industry groups.
