Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial, environmental or other relevant engineering field.
• 5-10 years of relevant HVAC experience in large multi-family or commercial buildings.
• Experience with commissioning, retro-commissioning, decarbonization plans and energy audits preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning, retro-commissioning, and decarbonization projects for multifamily, commercial, and institutional buildings.
• Evaluate documents and building conditions to improve IAQ, energy efficiency, and operability.
• Develop commissioning plans, testing procedures, and technical reports for new and existing buildings.
• Perform functional testing of central plant equipment and controls to verify performance and identify optimization opportunities.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to project management, budgets, and client communications.
