Job summary

DLR Group is seeking a Senior Commissioning Authority to lead multiple national and international commissioning projects within Workplace, Federal, Education, Hospitality, Healthcare, and other sectors. You will manage a commissioning team alongside Architects, Engineers and specialty designers, delivering expert commissioning services across all project phases.

The role requires travel (approximately 10–30% of time) and a track record of on-schedule, within-budget project delivery.

Qualifications

• 15+ years hands-on experience in commissioning building systems.
• Deep knowledge of building design/construction, commissioning for new builds and renovations.
• Strong communication, organizational and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning activities across all phases of the project with multiple trades and client management.
• Review design and construction documents for compliance with Owner’s Project Requirements and Basis of Design.
• Oversee commissioning plans, pre-functional checklists, and functional performance tests.
• Provide subject matter expertise to improve system performance.
• Mentor and train junior staff to build a capable commissioning team.
