Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field with at least 5 years of direct experience in business/commercial credit analysis.
• Experience with credit analysis software/systems and knowledge of deposit and loan products.
• Strong financial and credit analysis skills and understanding of business credit documentation.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Knowledge of company policies and applicable laws/regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, problem solving, organizational skills, and independence.

Responsibilities

• Completes credit analysis and risk rating packages for loan requests.
• Meets with Loan Officers or borrowers to understand loans.
• May present at Commercial Loan Committee meetings.
• May contact businesses, accountants, attorneys to clarify questions.
• Requests collateral documents and resolves issues.
• Requests financial statements for annual reviews.
• Provides feedback and models loan structures for new and existing relationships.
• Completes annual reviews and adjusts risk ratings.
• Attends business loan appointments as needed.
• Maintains annual review and risk rating reports.
• Assists in annual review of the Commercial Lending Policy.
• Performs loan audit review.
• Performs other duties.
