PNC is seeking an Underwriter III - Commercial in the Troy, MI or Clayton, MO area. The role involves independent loan analysis, elevated approval authority, and expert handling of complex transactions within the Regional Credit Product Group.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Works independently with little or no oversight.
Exercises exception and elevated approval authority.
Prepares loan offerings for all types of transactions at any level of complexity.
Interacts with internal/external customers.
Serves as a subject matter expert for asset classes and may lead projects.
Analyzes credit, collateral strength and financial worthiness to prepare offerings or scorecards.
Performs ongoing credit risk management for assigned portfolio.
Coaches and reviews underwriters as needed.
Ensures internal policies and regulatory requirements are followed.
Makes credit decisions or recommendations as appropriate.
