Job summary

Arch Insurance Group Inc. is seeking a remote underwriter to partner with a regional leader. You will conduct high‑level financial analysis and risk assessment to determine credit quality and risk acceptability.

You will build strong relationships with producers, manage a book of business, and ensure profitability while meeting Arch standards. This role supports regional leadership and may involve multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of financial and accounting principles and the ability to evaluate the financial condition, credit history and character of contract accounts.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload to meet expectations.
• Learns quickly and adapts to new problems, processes, or procedures.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze information to evaluate credit quality and risk acceptability.
• Develop and maintain relationships with producers and cultivate new ones.
• Manage a book of business and meet profitability objectives in the defined territory.
• Monitor accounts to ensure compliance with Arch standards and take corrective actions as needed.
• Prepare underwriting submissions and recommendations within authority limits.
• Support Regional Lead with additional projects.
