Job summary

Sigmatech, Inc. in Arlington, VA, seeks a highly qualified Subject Matter Expert to support the integration of commercial space capabilities into USSF architectures. You will work directly with SAF/SQ to align space acquisition, requirements, and program execution.

The ideal candidate has five+ years in acquisition/space programs, experience with commercial space providers, HQ-level staff support, and proven ability to communicate with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience with DAF and USSF acquisition, architectures, and programs.
• Experience with commercial space capability developers.
• HQ level staff or staff support experience.
• Ability to plan, work, and deliver independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Establish relationships with commercial space system developers, operators, and suppliers.
• Track and report space acquisition decisions comparing materiel vs non-materiel options.
• Analyze risks and opportunities for relying on commercial space providers.
• Advise on DOTmLPF-P barriers to integrating commercial space capabilities.
• Interact with US civil and intelligence stakeholders on whole-of-government approaches.
• Maintain planning, scheduling, and oversight data.
• Provide recommendations on requirements, strategy, program docs, and transition plans.
• Maintain historical commercial space program documents and summaries.
• Provide quick analyses of critical issues for Congress, OSD, Joint Staff, USSF, MAJCOM, and others.
• Support DoD/JS/DAF and HQ USSF acquisition, architectures, and reviews.
• Monitor ongoing studies relevant to space systems.
