Job summary

Pride One Construction seeks a Commercial Site Superintendent to oversee daily operations on commercial projects in Franklin, IN. You will direct subcontractors, monitor schedules, and ensure project success per contract parameters.

The role requires strong leadership, organization, and communication, with opportunities for advancement within a full-service construction management company that handles apartments, hotels, student housing, and more.

Qualifications

• OSHA-30 certification is required.
• Must be proficient in Word and Excel.
• Must be very organized and able to explain details to others.
• Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with subcontractors, clients, and employees.

Responsibilities

• Plan weekly project activities and provide directions to subcontractors with input from the Project Manager.
• Monitor the project schedule and report status toward completing planned activities.
• Maintain daily logs of subcontractors, weather, and site activities; enter logs in management software.
• Conduct onsite walkthroughs with clients to ensure understanding and satisfaction.
• Coordinate and manage scheduling of subcontractors’ work and material deliveries.
• Monitor quality and progress of construction work and report to the Project Manager.
• Identify and inform the Project Manager of change order needs based on project needs or client requests.
• Conduct post-construction checks and coordinate final onsite activities such as Certificates of Occupancy.
• Participate in project evaluations and apply learnings to future projects.
