Job summary

Pieros Construction Co. seeks a Service Superintendent for our Somerville, NJ shop. Lead and coordinate daily commercial roofing service operations, overseeing technicians, managing work orders, and ensuring safety, quality, and on-time project completion.

You will serve as the liaison between the Service Manager, customers, and field teams to deliver excellent service and operational excellence. Prior roofing leadership experience and a driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of commercial roofing experience.
• Minimum of 3 years in a Superintendent, Foreman, or leadership role.
• Experience managing multiple crews and service projects simultaneously.
• Five or more years of Roofing Superintendent experience preferred.
• Valid State Driver's License with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and support Service Technicians and field personnel.
• Manage daily service operations, including repairs, maintenance, emergency service calls, and warranty work.
• Oversee service tickets and active projects to ensure timely completion and budget adherence.
• Coordinate workforce scheduling and dispatch to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure safety, schedule work with customers, and maintain professional client relationships.
• Communicate job status, delays, material needs, and project updates clearly.
• Coach and guide service personnel; ensure quality and compliance with OSHA and safety policies.
