Job summary

TalentSphere seeks a Commercial Roofing Estimator for its Tulsa, OK on-site team. The ideal candidate will review plans, perform takeoffs, and develop detailed roofing estimates for bids and proposals from general contractors and owners.

Responsibilities include cost estimation, vendor coordination, and documentation through preconstruction, with opportunities to engage in shop drawings, pricing, and handoff to project teams. A strong roofing estimating background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous estimating experience within construction.
• Commercial roofing estimating experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to read plans, specs and construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Review plans, specifications and project documents to understand scope.
• Complete takeoffs and prepare detailed commercial roofing estimates.
• Estimate labor, materials, equipment and overall project costs.
• Prepare proposals for general contractors, building owners and private clients.
• Track bids and follow opportunities through the preconstruction process.
• Request shop drawings and prepare submittal documentation.
• Obtain product data, samples and other required project information.
• Work with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing.
• Communicate with GCs, architects, engineers, owners and subcontractors when scope or pricing changes.
