Job summary

Columbia Bank is seeking a Senior Relationship Specialist to serve as the primary liaison with Commercial customers through onboarding and ongoing relationship management. You will coordinate underwriting, documentation, and closing of complex C&I loans, construction lending, and deposits, while ensuring regulatory adherence and timely processing.

You will also prepare and file documents, manage servicing inputs, and resolve customer issues with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

More than 10 years of banking, loan administration and documentation experience.
Strong knowledge of complex lending structures and letters of credit.
Demonstrated ability to analyze title insurance commitments and title exceptions.

Responsibilities

Partner with Commercial Relationship Team to review information for underwriting, documentation and closing of loans.
Set up, process, and monitor documents and files for package completion and regulatory compliance.
Prepare data input sheets and boarding information for servicing systems.
Negotiate documents with attorneys and other resources to protect the bank's interests.
Monitor loan closings to meet timeframes and ensure all closing conditions are met.
Handle customer issues regarding bank products and services and assist with account maintenance requests.
