Qualifications

• 5+ years of recent, continuous experience as a commercial real estate paralegal at a law firm (not residential-only)
• Hands-on title, survey, and closing experience — you can run a closing from start to post-closing independently
• Stable employment history with no pattern of frequent job changes
• Able to be in the Roseland, NJ office 5 days a week
• Strong attention to detail and polished written work product

Responsibilities

• Ordering and reviewing title commitments and surveys, and clearing title objections
• Preparing closing documents, managing closing checklists, and coordinating funds flow for commercial acquisitions, sales, leasing, and financing transactions
• Handling due diligence, entity documents, and estoppels across multiple active deals
• Managing post-closing recordings, filings, and follow-up items
• Interfacing directly with clients, opposing counsel, and title companies with minimal partner oversight
