Job summary

Collegiate Peaks Bank in Denver, CO, is seeking a Commercial Portfolio Manager II to oversee a portfolio of commercial credit relationships, performing underwriting, monitoring, and relationship support. You will collaborate with Commercial Lending Officers, Credit Analysts, and Loan Operations to balance risk and growth while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in business, finance, economics or related field preferred.
• 3-4 years commercial portfolio management or credit analysis experience preferred
• 3-4 years commercial banking experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Manages an assigned portfolio of credits, anticipating opportunities, maturities, and reviews.
• Assist in collecting monitoring requirements such as borrowing bases and financial packaging.
• Monitor performance of credit relationships to identify risk and minimize losses; prepare problem loan reports.
• Support Relationship Managers in portfolio management activities across credit and banking services.
• Assist in business development call preparation with Relationship Managers.
• Maintain ongoing portfolio management and develop strong client relationships.
• Assist in collection and pre-underwriting analysis and submission of authorizations.
• Participate in bank-related events and business development activities.
• Analyze financial statements and tax returns using appropriate tools and credit criteria.
• Review regulatory compliance items (CRA, Adverse Action, SOx, GLBA/privacy).
• Stay educated on industry trends and regulatory requirements affecting lending criteria.
