Best-One Tire & Service in Jeffersonville is seeking a full-time Commercial Mechanic to diagnose, maintain, and repair commercial vehicles and equipment. The role emphasizes preventative maintenance, teamwork, and quality workmanship.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years of general mechanical experience with 3+ years in commercial vehicle work, including alignments. Ownership of tools is required, and CDL is a plus. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k) match, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Six years of general mechanical work experience
• At least 3 years with commercial vehicles
• Experience performing commercial vehicle alignments is required

Responsabilités

• Perform mechanical work including alignments, brakes, suspensions, electrical, hydraulic, kingpins, fluids, and DOT inspections for commercial and light truck applications
• No engine or transmission work is performed at this facility
• Provide guidance and training to other team members
• Help assign jobs and duties to team members
• Assist with scheduling customer jobs
• Motivate the team and keep tasks on track
• Maintain and control parts and supplies inventory
• Track and record work performed and create work orders for customer jobs
