Job summary

First Tech Federal Credit Union in Hillsboro, OR is seeking a Senior Commercial Loan Workout Specialist to manage a complex portfolio of criticized, classified, non-performing, and charged-off commercial loans. The role serves as the lead relationship manager and primary decision-maker during workout, restructuring, and recovery processes.

The position provides strategic oversight of problem credits, develops loss mitigation strategies, and partners with borrowers, legal counsel, and leadership

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance or related field.
4+ years in commercial lending, special assets, or credit risk management.
Advanced knowledge of loan workout, restructuring, and recovery.
Strong financial statement analysis and cash flow modeling.
Experience with negotiations and presenting to executives.

Responsibilities

Lead workout and recovery workflows across a complex loan portfolio.
Oversee borrower performance, collateral adequacy, and risk ratings.
