Job summary

Rogue Credit Union is seeking a Commercial Portfolio Manager to oversee a portfolio of commercial lending relationships, ensuring ongoing financial health, risk management, regulatory compliance, and adherence to policies. The role partners with Relationship Managers and Credit Administration to monitor borrower performance and risk indicators, while supporting portfolio strategy and documentation.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of commercial lending, portfolio management, or related financial institutional experience.
• Strong understanding of commercial lending principles and credit risk.
• Familiarity with loan risk-rating methodologies and collateral evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned portfolio of commercial lending relationships and monitor borrower performance, financial condition, and credit quality.
• Identify emerging credit risks and communicate changes to stakeholders to support portfolio health.
• Monitor maturities and coordinate renewals, extensions, or restructurings as needed.
• Ensure covenant compliance and monitor loan conditions with accurate documentation and timely reporting.
• Evaluate collateral, including appraisals and insurance, and recommend actions to protect credit quality.
• Identify opportunities in deposits, treasury management, and other Business Services for members while maintaining credit discipline.
• Stay current on regulations and loan policies, support audits and examinations, and assist with remediation of findings.
