Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is looking for an experienced Commercial Litigator to join their team in Towson, MD. The ideal candidate should have 5-10 years of substantive litigation experience, particularly in general commercial litigation, construction litigation, and surety law. Key responsibilities include representing clients in various disputes, drafting legal documents, and providing strategic counsel.

A J.D. from an accredited law school and active Maryland Bar membership are required.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of relevant litigation experience including courtroom and deposition experience.
• Active membership in the Maryland Bar.
• Experience representing contractors, subcontractors, design professionals, or sureties is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in disputes from initial investigation through trial and appeal.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and legal memoranda.
• Conduct and defend depositions, manage written discovery, and handle court appearances.
• Provide strategic counsel and participate in settlement negotiations and mediations.
• Work independently and collaboratively with senior attorneys and partners.
