Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Texas (or eligibility for prompt admission).
• 4+ years of commercial litigation experience, ideally with a large or well-regarded litigation firm.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Hands-on experience with depositions, motion practice, and discovery; trial or arbitration experience is a plus.
• Ability to manage matters independently in a lean, collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of commercial litigation from pre-suit to appeal.
• Handle a variety of business disputes including breach of contract and corporate disputes.
• Draft and argue motions, briefs, and filings in state and federal court and arbitration.
• Take and defend depositions, manage document discovery, and work with experts.
• Communicate with clients and contribute to case strategy with partners.
