Interlink Recruitment in Los Angeles seeks a mid-level litigation associate with 6+ years of experience to join its Trial & Defense team. The role involves managing a substantial caseload across employment disputes, personal injury, commercial disputes and class actions.

The candidate will take on significant responsibility, handle depositions, motions and trials, and interact with clients on strategy and developments within a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of litigation experience.
• Admission to the California Bar.
• Experience across all aspects of litigation.
• Deposition, discovery, and motion practice experience.
• Strong pre-trial, mediation and trial experience.
• Excellent academic credentials from a reputable law school.
• Exceptional legal research, writing and communication skills.
• Strong oral advocacy and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines.
• Commercially minded and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of 10–20 matters.
• Investigate claims and develop case strategies.
• Draft and respond to discovery; oversee document production.
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Draft and file pleadings, motions and other documents.
• Prepare for hearings and argue motions.
• Draft pre-trial and trial documents.
• Prepare matters for mediation and trial.
• Communicate with clients about strategy and developments.
• Develop relationships with clients and opposing counsel.
