Boutique Recruiting in Los Angeles is seeking a Junior/Mid-Level Litigation Associate with 4–6 years of civil litigation experience to help handle sophisticated, high-stakes matters. You will analyze complex commercial disputes, white-collar matters, government investigations, healthcare fraud, and founder disputes while advancing to greater responsibility.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active California Bar membership.
• 4–6 years of civil litigation experience.
• Experience in complex litigation or a closely related practice area.
• Exceptional legal research, analytical, and writing skills.
• Strong oral communication skills with the confidence to advocate effectively.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and anticipate what needs to happen next.
• Self-starter mentality with the ability to thrive without micromanagement.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
• Deposition and in-person court experience are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle substantive legal research, analysis, and drafting across sophisticated civil litigation matters.
• Draft motions, briefs, discovery, correspondence and other case-related documents with a strong emphasis on persuasive legal writing.
• Support discovery strategy, depositions, hearings and other phases of litigation.
• Work closely with partners, senior attorneys and paralegals on complex matters involving significant financial and business stakes.
• Take increasing ownership of matters as experience and familiarity with the firm's practice grow.
• Analyze case developments, identify next steps and proactively move assignments forward.
• Participate in collaborative case strategy while exercising independent judgment and critical thinking.
