Wilson Elser, a national law firm with more than 1,400 attorneys across 46 offices, invites you to join our Miami office as a Paralegal. This role offers exposure to commercial litigation matters and large-scale document review in a collaborative environment.

You will manage documents, assist with subpoenas and depositions, and support trial teams from preparation to verdict. A paralegal certificate or degree and a team-oriented mindset are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience with a focus on commercial litigation.
• Demonstrated experience with document management, including largescale document review and production.
• Experience supporting trials from preparation to verdict.
• Working knowledge of subpoena practice and Rule 30(b)(6) depositions.
• Paralegal certificate or degree preferred.
• Team-oriented and ability to take initiative.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Manage and organize large volumes of case documents and electronic discovery
• Prepare, review and organize corporate documents, including but not limited to, corporate procedures, policies, manuals and forms, along with communications, for use in discovery, trial or in response to non-party subpoenas
• Draft and serve subpoenas to corporate officers or businesses and track responses
• Assist with Rule 30(b)(6) depositions, including preparing notices and coordinating witnesses
• Assisting attorneys with preparation for depositions, hearings, mediations by compiling key documents and other materials for purposes of exhibits or presentation
• Manage outside general counsel obligations as it relates to production of documents in response to non-party subpoenas
