Keystone Distinction Group's Portland office seeks a Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney to handle sophisticated disputes for local, national, and international clients in state and federal courts. This role offers substantial responsibility and direct exposure to seasoned litigators in a collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate has a JD from a top law school, Oregon bar admission (or waiver), 4–6 years of commercial litigation experience, and strong drafting, discovery, and motion

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in Oregon, in good standing, or the ability to waive in, is required.
• 4–6 years of substantive experience in commercial litigation.
• Litigation Experience: excel in drafting, discovery, motion practice, and court appearances for complex business disputes.
• Class action litigation experience is a plus.
• Active Bar Admission in Washington and/or California is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple matters effectively.
• Soft Skills: excellent writing, research, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in a broad range of complex commercial litigation matters.
• Draft pleadings, prepare discovery, and manage motion practice in high-stakes litigation.
• Collaborate closely with partners and clients in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
• Work directly with clients to provide practical, business-oriented legal counsel.
• Manage cases through all stages of litigation, including fact development, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and appeals.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, motions, briefs, and other litigation-related documents.
• Develop case strategies and collaborate with partners on high-stakes disputes.
