Job summary

J.Sheppard Associates’ litigation practice seeks an Associate with 5–7 years of substantive commercial litigation experience in a Big Law or Am Law 200 setting to join its Litigation and Dispute Resolution team. The Associate will handle a broad range of complex matters for mid- to large-market clients alongside sought-after litigators.

New York Bar admission is required. Strong writing, analytical, discovery, depositions, and motion practice skills are essential, with capacity to supervise

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of substantive commercial litigation experience in a Big Law or Am Law 200 setting.
• Superior writing and analytical skills.
• Experience in discovery, depositions, motion practice and case management.
• New York Bar admission is required.
• Ability to take increasing ownership and supervise junior associates.
