Job summary

The Jonus Group is hiring a seasoned Commercial Lines Account Executive to manage a true middle-market book, with accounts from $150K to $1M in premium. You will market accounts, present to clients, and upsell services across real estate, contracting, and manufacturing sectors.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in insurance, an active P&C license, and strong consultative, client-focused skills. Proficiency in AMS 360 and excellent organizational abilities are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required; additional designations highly preferred.
• 10+ years in the insurance industry.
• At least 2 years in an Account Executive role.
• Proven ability to handle complex accounts, including layered E&S policies and loss-sensitive business.
• Proficiency in AMS 360 software.
• Consultative, client-focused approach with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a middle-market book of business with $800K-$1M in revenue.
• Handle accounts ranging from $150K to $1M in premium, including real estate, contractors, and manufacturing clients.
• Market accounts, present to clients, and upsell services.
• Oversee administrative tasks such as certificates and endorsements, ensuring completion.
• Quote new and renewal business as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to meet client needs and company objectives.
