Job summary

BankTennessee in Munford, TN is seeking a Relationship Manager to drive commercial loan production by developing and expanding relationships with businesses, individuals, and community partners. You will generate referrals, underwrite loans, and manage a portfolio while reporting to the Bank President/CEO.

Responsibilities include engaging with the local community, interviewing applicants, structuring loans, and presenting proposals.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years of commercial lending experience.
• Ability to originate and manage a commercial loan portfolio.
• Existing client relationships or portable book of business preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage in local community involvement to grow visibility and opportunities.
• Interview applicants, complete applications, collect documents, and underwrite loans.
• Maintain timely communication with applicants throughout the loan process.
• Structure loans and rate recommendations based on collateral, cash flow, and borrower creditworthiness.
• Analyze financial information for new loans, renewals, and portfolio management.
• Prepare and present complete commercial loan proposals.
• Guide loan requests through credit approval, balancing client needs with bank objectives.
• Monitor loan payments and address past-due accounts.
• Manage the loan portfolio including covenant tracking, annual reviews, and exceptions.
• Demonstrate professionalism and high ethical standards.
