Job summary

Whaley Foodservice is hiring a Service Technician II to maintain, service, and repair commercial cooking equipment and refrigeration systems such as grills, fryers, ovens, ice machines, and walk-in coolers. A company vehicle, device, and uniforms are provided along with benefits and sign-on bonuses for experienced technicians.

The role requires diagnosing issues, communicating part order statuses, and completing service calls accurately and on time.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in commercial kitchen repair and or refrigeration.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen is required.
• Valid Driver's license and driving record that aligns with our safety standard.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs commercial cooking equipment, refrigeration.
• Communicates status updates for part orders and repairs with branch support and customers.
• Completes service calls accurately and timely.
• Audits truck stock to ensure required parts are stocked.
• Ensures service vehicle, tools, and uniforms meet safety standards.
• Meets on-call requirements.
