Job summary

NFP, an Aon company, seeks a Senior Broker in California to lead large, complex placements from market selection to policy delivery. You will mentor staff, cultivate insurer relationships, and drive renewal broking with service-model discipline.

The role emphasizes leadership, strategic client service, and technical analysis, including working with Epic and analytics to optimize outcomes for major clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum seven years insurance experience
• Team leadership experience is a plus
• P&C license required or obtained within 90 days
• Advanced industry designation(s) (e.g. CPCU, CIC, ARM) preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage broking around renewal cycles with NFP service standards
• Execute client/prospect placements with strong risk understanding
• Collaborate with account management and clients for submissions and quotes
• Develop creative solutions for complex placement scenarios
• Support team in responding to client queries and concerns
• Present proposals to producers and account teams and lead client meetings
• Oversee development of sales documents, presentations, stewardship reports, and RFPs
• Prepare detailed coverage and policy analyses and reports
• Review binders and policies for terms and conditions
• Build strong relationships with carrier and wholesale partners and NFP teams
• Ensure accuracy of client and policy data in Epic
• Drive data analytics to provide program insights
• Showcase and introduce technology resources to customers
• Develop knowledge of insurance marketplace and products
• Understand actuarial concepts and analyses
• Lead and support portfolio management objectives
