Insurance Office of America is hiring an Account Manager in California with 5–10+ years of commercial insurance experience and an active P&C license. The role focuses on day-to-day client service, policy administration, and renewal management to drive retention and growth.

The position emphasizes strong customer service, communication, and analytical skills, with opportunities across account management, senior account manager, and senior account executive paths.

Competenze

• 3+ years of account management experience or 5+ years of insurance industry experience.
• Active insurance license.
• Strong knowledge of insurance products and brokerage operations.
• Excellent customer service, communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

Mansioni

• Client Service & Account Administration: Respond to client service requests and inquiries; Process policy changes, endorsements, billing requests, and claims support; Conduct coverage analysis and assist clients with policy-related questions; Maintain positive client relationships through responsive service.
• Renewal & Retention Management: Manage policy expirations and renewal timelines; Gather underwriting information and prepare renewal submissions; Support renewal marketing efforts and proposal development; Assist with account retention initiatives.
• Operational Excellence: Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms; Ensure account documentation is accurate and complete; Monitor activity and suspense systems to ensure timely completion of tasks; Follow company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Financial Management: Assist with accounts receivable monitoring and collection efforts; Resolve billing and payment issues as needed.
• Professional Development: Maintain technical insurance knowledge and industry awareness; Participate in continuous improvement initiatives; Demonstrate company values and a commitment to client service excellence.
