Job summary

Vortex Doors in Ohio seeks a skilled commercial door technician to install, service, and troubleshoot doors, dock equipment, and related hardware. You diagnose issues with springs, hinges, locks, rollers, and electrical components, test performance, and document outcomes with safety first.

Daily work includes communicating with customers, offering options, and delivering cost‑effective solutions. You will handle on‑site visits, safety checks, and continuous training with company benefits.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in commercial door service.
• AAADM certification is a plus.
• Strong safety discipline and adherence to codes.
• Ability to read and interpret installation plans.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot doors, dock equipment, and related hardware.

Throughout the day, you solve problems, communicate clearly with customers, and take pride in leaving every opening operating flawlessly.What you will take onInstall, service, and troubleshoot commercial and industrial doors, dock equipment, and related hardware using the right tools and methods.Identify and repair issues with springs, hinges, locks, rollers, operators, and electrical components.
