Job summary

Kelso Industries is seeking a Senior Commercial HVAC Service Technician to service, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC equipment, including VRF systems. You will work on-site with a focus on safety, customer service, and quality repair workmanship.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, a valid HVAC license, universal refrigerant license, and the ability to work on rotating on-call schedules and active construction sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC, plumbing, or refrigeration experience.
• HVAC license is required and Universal Refrigerant License is required.
• Journeyman HVAC license preferred; hydronic/plumbing licenses a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; access active construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems including boilers, chillers, fans, pumps, valves, thermostats, and motors.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Install, commission, and troubleshoot VRF systems.
• Diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical issues.
• Read blueprints and work orders; ensure safety and code compliance.
• Provide exceptional customer service and complete billing paperwork.
