Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on commercial or industrial HVAC service experience.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent and 450 hours HVAC training.
• Experience with electrical systems and diagnostic troubleshooting.
• Massachusetts Journeyman Refrigeration License preferred but not required.
• Comfortable with independent fieldwork and rotating on-call.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair commercial and industrial HVAC equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance to improve system performance, reliability, and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot refrigeration systems, electrical circuits, wiring, and electronic controls using modern diagnostic tools.
• Service commercial HVAC equipment, including systems under 10 tons.
• Respond to service requests, identify technical issues, and deliver effective repairs independently.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Maintain accurate service records, inspection reports, and field documentation.
• Communicate professionally with customers and deliver outstanding service.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency service requests.
• Follow established safety procedures and maintain high-quality workmanship.
