Job summary

MCI, headquartered in North Carolina, seeks a Senior HVAC Service Technician to join our Raleigh team. You will provide expert-level service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of commercial HVAC systems, lead service calls, and support on-call rotations.

Compensation is $35.00 - $45.00 per hour, non-exempt, with a $3,000 sign-on bonus. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC, a valid driver's license, strong diagnostic skills, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and electrical components.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, drawings, and technical documents.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills and the ability to solve complex mechanical and electrical issues.

Responsibilities

• Performing advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
• Leading service calls and responding to emergency maintenance requests, including on‑call rotations and overtime work as needed.
• Conducting preventative maintenance, system inspections, and performance testing to optimize efficiency.
• Interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documents to ensure correct installation and repairs.
• Ensuring compliance with high standards for quality and safety, following industry codes.
