Job summary

AmeriServe is seeking a Senior Commercial HVAC Technician with NATE Certification and at least 10 years of commercial experience to service, maintain, and troubleshoot complex systems in a fast-paced, professional environment.

You will service RTUs, chillers, boilers, and BAS/BMS, perform preventive maintenance, diagnose electrical and control issues, and read blueprints. A valid driver’s license and EPA certification are required.

Qualifications

• NATE Certification is required for this role.
• Minimum 10 years of commercial HVAC experience.
• EPA Certification.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• BAS/BMS experience is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to work independently in field environments.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair commercial HVAC systems including RTUs, chillers, boilers, and hydronic systems.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and controls issues.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.

Key Responsibilities

• Service and repair commercial HVAC systems including:
  • Rooftop units (RTUs)
  • Chillers, boilers, and hydronic systems
  • VAV/VRF systems
  • Building Automation Systems (BAS/BMS)
• Perform preventative maintenance for commercial accounts
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and controls issues
• Read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
• Ensure compliance with safety codes and company standards
• Communicate with facility managers and clients professionally
• Complete detailed service documentation

Requirements

• NATE Certification (Required)
• Minimum 10 years of commercial HVAC experience
