Job summary

UG2 LLC is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician in West Palm Beach to maintain, repair, and install HVAC equipment, ductwork, and related controls in a commercial facility. The role emphasizes troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and reliable operation to keep systems running safely and efficiently.

You will work under supervision, respond to tenant requests, assist with inventory, and ensure compliance with codes and UG2 SOPs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience as an HVAC technician in a commercial/industrial facility.
• Familiarity with HVAC and electrical codes.
• Ability to plan and organize work.
• Proficiency in brazing, soldering, and welding.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude with large tonnage HVAC equipment.
• Experience servicing refrigeration compressors, cooling towers, pumps, VAV boxes, energy management controls.
• Ability to work varying shifts, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot HVAC equipment and controls to identify problems and repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment.
• Install ductwork, piping, air conditioning units, and exhaust equipment.
• Operate and log HVAC and MEP equipment under supervision.
• Respond to tenant service requests and maintain client relations.
• Inspect buildings and equipment for unsafe conditions and report to management.
• Assist with inventory management and stock.
• Complete work per UG2 SOPs.
