Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in maintaining, repairing, and installing refrigeration and HVAC units (or equivalent education).
• Strong knowledge of safety precautions associated with HVAC work.
• EPA Certified to repair, maintain, and operate refrigeration and HVAC systems.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work duties.
• Excellent communication skills and professional ethics.

Responsibilities

• Service and install commercial HVAC equipment.
• Perform control wiring and start-up procedures.
• Inspect and adjust new equipment operations for reliable indoor air comfort.
• Handle operation, reclaim, and charging of refrigerants.
• Solder and braze copper piping and install PVC piping for condensation.
• Maintain inventory of air conditioning and refrigeration truck stock.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues to repair HVAC equipment.
