Job summary

Anderson Mechanical Services is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Service Technician to join our growing Service team. This role focuses on servicing complex commercial HVAC systems, including DOAS, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, and water-side HVAC equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a Journeyman HVAC License and at least 5 years of commercial HVAC experience, with strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of commercial HVAC service experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills on commercial HVAC systems.
• Experience servicing DOAS (Dedicated Outdoor Air Systems), chillers, cooling towers, pumps, and water-side HVAC systems.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC equipment and mechanical systems.
• Service and maintain equipment including chillers, cooling towers, pumps, DOAS units, and other water-side HVAC systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Identify system issues and recommend repair or replacement solutions.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding system conditions, recommendations, and completed work.
• Complete work orders, service reports, and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Follow all OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and industry best practices.
• Mentor and assist less experienced technicians when needed.
• Participate in the on-call rotation as required.
