Job summary

EMCOR Services Mesa Energy in Irvine, CA is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician. You will install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including chillers, refrigeration and heat pumps, and perform preventative maintenance.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years as a Licensed Journeyman HVAC, EPA 608 Universal, ability to read blueprints, and a valid driver's license. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package and opportunities to work with cutting-edge equipment and software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field experience as Licensed Journeyman in HVAC.
• EPA Certification (608) Universal License.
• Commercial experience as HVAC and Refrigeration Technician.
• Knowledge and experience in the proper use and safe operation of hand tools, equipment, and testing devices necessary to perform all work assignments.
• Participates in the ongoing training available to our crews to keep updated on the newest equipment and latest software for HVAC equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment such as vacuuming, cleaning, changing filters, and oiling parts.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC systems.
