Job summary

BMI-PacWest is seeking an experienced HVAC service technician in Santa Maria, CA. You will diagnose, service, and repair a range of commercial HVAC systems, including rooftops, chillers, boilers, and zone controls, while delivering exceptional customer service.

The role requires 5+ years of field experience, EPA Universal 608 certification, and the ability to work independently or with a team. On-call rotation and relocation support are available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial/industrial HVAC service experience.
• EPA Universal 608 Certification required.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems.
• Service rooftop units, chillers, boilers, and zone controls.
• Perform preventative maintenance to maximize equipment performance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
• Document service work and communicate recommendations to customers.
• Deliver outstanding customer service while working independently and as part of a team.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support.
