Job summary

BME Services in Kokomo, IN seeks a skilled Technician to diagnose, maintain and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems, including RTUs, chillers, boilers and DX equipment. You’ll perform routine service, preventive maintenance, and on-site repairs while building strong customer relationships.

The role includes training apprentices, traveling to customer sites, and contributing to parts ordering and service reports.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of commercial HVAC service experience.
• EPA license required.
• OSHA 10 certification (preferred).
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units (RTUs), chillers, boilers, DX equipment, fan systems, and refrigeration units.
• Perform routine service, maintenance, and warranty work to ensure optimal system performance.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades.
• Track and document work performed, including obtaining purchase orders and completing service reports.
• Travel to customer locations to provide on-site service and repairs.
