Job summary

MSS Solutions, LLC in Charleston, SC is seeking an HVAC Technician to service and startup commercial systems at the Downtown Charleston Roper St. Francis facility.

You will install, troubleshoot and maintain equipment, work from drawings, and participate in on-call rotations, with a focus on safety and quality. Qualified candidates have 2+ years of commercial HVAC experience, Universal EPA certification, a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record; MSS offers a competitive benefits

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial HVAC service experience.
• Universal EPA Certification.
• Ability to read safety rules, manuals, and written directions.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Must pass background check and drug test.
• Physically capable of heavy lifting and demanding work.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot and startup commercial HVAC equipment up to ~25 tons.
• Log equipment status and performance.
• Drive and pick up equipment and parts as needed.
• Communicate with team and customers.
• Complete tasks with minimal callbacks and timely paperwork.
• On-call rotation as required.
