Job summary

McCloskey Mechanical seeks a highly experienced Commercial HVAC/R Technician to support operations in the Sarasota/Bradenton region. The role focuses on commercial refrigeration systems, rack refrigeration, and glycol chiller systems.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing equipment, installing and starting up HVAC and boiler systems, and maintaining compliance with safety codes. EPA Type II/Universal certification and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of commercial HVAC/R experience.
• EPA Certification (Type II or Universal).
• Valid Driver's License.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial refrigeration systems
• Perform installations, startups, and retrofits of HVAC and boiler equipment
• Service DX systems, chillers, AHUs, RTUs, VAVs, and BAS/BMS controls
• Interpret schematics and equipment specifications
• Maintain compliance with codes and safety regulations
