Job summary

Solid Rock Recruiting is working with a well-established commercial mechanical contractor in the Sioux Falls area to add an experienced Commercial HVAC Project Manager who will run projects end-to-end. This role involves coordinating with field crews, vendors, engineers, and general contractors while maintaining schedules and budgets.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings and contracts, managing RFIs and changes, ordering materials, tracking costs, and ensuring safety and profitability.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial HVAC project management experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial HVAC projects from kickoff through closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and timelines.
• Coordinate with field crews, subcontractors, vendors, engineers, and general contractors.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Order materials and coordinate equipment deliveries.
• Track project costs and maintain profitability.
• Conduct jobsite visits and support field operations.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and project teams.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
