Job summary
HTS Engineering Ltd. is seeking an experienced service technician to perform advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial HVAC systems across multiple locations in North America.
You will work on RTUs, chillers, boilers, VAVs, air handlers, pumps, and related equipment, coordinating with junior technicians and subcontractors as needed. The role requires a strong service background, EPA Universal Certification, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics.
Qualifications
- 7-10 years of commercial HVAC experience preferred with a strong service background.
- Advanced troubleshooting experience with commercial HVAC systems.
- Strong knowledge of chillers, boilers, RTUs, air handlers, pumps, cooling towers, and controls.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, service, and repairs on commercial HVAC systems.
- Lead technician on projects and coordinate with junior technicians and subcontractors.
- Interface with building engineers, facility managers, property owners, and customers.
- Explain service findings, recommendations, and system conditions clearly.
- Maintain accurate service documentation and use BuildOps for job documentation.
- Mentor and train junior technicians; ensure safe and high-standard work; first-time fixability.
